Jonathan H. Grossman is a professor at UCLA, where he regularly enjoys teaching Dickens. In the past, at Dickens Universe he has given talks on A Tale of Two Cities, Pickwick¸ and Great Expectations. His recent work on Dickens can be found in Novel, Victorian Studies, and Critical Inquiry. He is at work on the history and theory of standardization: think of it as the process of making things the same and then circulating those duplicated particulars to create universality.
